Hartstone Pottery is located in Zanesville Oho, just around the corner from Ohio State University. However, if you're a fan of another college team, no worries, Hartstone is currently working to bring college pottery to most NCAA teams. Hartstone Pottery was first produced in 1976, with the Hartstone Cookie Mold. The Company was moved in 1983 to it's current home in Zanesville Ohio - the JB Owens Pottery Company, built in 1902.
In the mid 1990's Hartstone was sold to Carlisle Home Products, who stopped production in 2005 and closed the factory. In June of 2005, the factory was reopened by some investors, who were eager to save the treasure of Hartstone pottery, the factory, and its employees.
All of the dinnerware on this site is made in Zanesville, Ohio by Hartstone Pottery specifically for Buckeye fans. The products are hand crafted, and painted stoneware that is oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe and Lead Free. Did we mention that it was made in the USA?
